About Us
The Parenting by Domains program was developed by developmental and clinical psychologists with the goal of informing parents about when and how to respond to their children based on their needs.
Our Core Team

Julia Vinik, PhD
Dr. Vinik is a clinical developmental psychologist. She conducts comprehensive psychological assessments with a focus on reducing negative behaviours in youth.

Joan Grusec, PhD
Dr. Grusec is a Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto. Her research examines parent-child socialization and social development in children.

Tanya Danyliuk, PhD
Dr. Danyliuk is a registered clinical and school psychologist. She provides evidence-based assessment and intervention with children, adolescents, and adults.

Norma D'Agostino, PhD
Dr. D'Agostino is a registered clinical and health psychologist. She supports children, adults, and families who have been touched by cancer or other serious illnesses.

Hali Kil, PhD
Dr. Kil is an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University in BC. Dr. Kil's research focuses on parenting, mindful families, and intercultural and immigrant family adjustment.

Silvia Bernardini, PhD
Dr. Bernardini is a registered clinical child and adolescent psychologist. Her clinical work focuses on anxiety disorders, OCD, and parent coaching.

Marina Fonseca, BHSc
Marina is an undergraduate student at McMaster University.

Rebecca Antonacci, MA
Rebecca is a PhD student in clinical psychology at the University of Windsor. Her research focuses on childhood and adolescent bullying experiences and body image.
